Principal Message

It is an honor to serve as the principal of Rock Creek Elementary alongside such a strong, caring, and dedicated community. Over the past year, I have had the privilege of getting to know many of our students, families, and staff, and I am grateful for the relationships we have built together in support of student learning and growth.

As a native Oregonian, I began my teaching career in Southern California before returning to Oregon, where I served at Beaver Acres and Oak Hills before becoming assistant principal at Findley Elementary. I then spent eight years as principal of Cedar Mill Elementary before joining the Rock Creek community in the fall of 2025. Each of these experiences has shaped my belief in the power of strong relationships, collaboration, and a shared commitment to student success.

I believe that the best educational experiences are created when students, families, and staff work together to ensure equitable access to learning and meaningful opportunities for every child. Every member of our school community plays an important role in fostering student growth, belonging, and achievement. As principal, I remain committed to supporting our students, staff, families, and the broader Rock Creek community.

I look forward to building on the successes of the past year. Together, we will continue creating an exceptional learning environment where every student is known, valued, challenged, and supported to achieve their goals.
